We have recently attended the Interclean Convention in Amsterdam and are one of the first South African based companies to import the latest technology in window cleaning. The revolutionary water-fed pole system revolutionises the window cleaning industry.
The operation involves the use of normal tap water that is fed through a Reverse Osmosis System, going though a filtration process with the end result being pure water. This pure water is then carried through lightweight carbon poles that are connected to brushes and the windows are then cleaned. As the water is pure there is no necessity for the use of chemicals and the windows dry streak free as there are no impurities for debris to adhere to. These poles can reach up to 20 metres and the system thus removes the need for ladders.
There are 3 enormous advantages to the water-fed pole system of window cleaning and they are:
No chemical usage, thus environmentally friendly.
Removes the need for ladders, scaffolding and a degree of rope access, thus improving safety as all cleaning can be effected from the ground.
Much quicker than conventional window cleaning methods, thus reducing any interference on sites.
We now have 2 teams working with this system and hope to continue in growing and developing this cleaning technology and to offer our clients this superior, innovative and efficient cleaning methodology.
The Wind-O-Wash Overberg office has now been in operation for over 2 years under the Executive Management of Jill Eckstein, Nicky Eckstein and Helen Edward and is growing daily.
